Administration
The Administration Commission is responsible for the temporal affairs of the parish: how money is acquired and spent, how the physical plant is maintained, and how the parishioners are kept informed about what is happening in the parish. It encompasses 1) Finances, 2) Facilities, 3) Office Support and 4) Communications.
1. Finances:
FINANCE COUNCIL
The Finance Council serves the pastor and the parish by preparing and monitoring an annual budget and review and approval of monthly and annual financial statements. They periodically inform parishioners of the financial status of the parish and participate in various finance related special projects. The pastor appoints Finance Council members, but if you are interested and qualified in Finance or Accounting, please contact the rectory for more information. Contact: Andrea Eastman 788-9088.

2. Facilities:
BUILDINGS & GROUNDS
This group is concerned with effective use and maintenance of the parish facilities and grounds. Its responsibilities include planning, providing cost estimates and advising the Administration Commission regarding physical properties and special projects such as the Parish Work Day and weather-related items. Membership is open to any parishioner. Contact: Rod Eastman 788-9088.

3. Office Support:
ASSIST WITH COMPUTER OPERATIONS
There may be times when data entry or other computer skills may be needed for a parish or organizational project. Persons with the skill, computers and time may be needed ... can you help? Contact: Andrea Eastman 788-5525.

PHONE COMMITTEE
If a committee or organization needs to reach a great number of people in the parish, a list of volunteer callers may be used to help. To obtain the list, contact
the Parish Office 788-5525.

4. Communications:
BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENTS
Following are guidelines for bulletin announcements:
- Submit WRITTEN announcements (none by telephone or personal verbal communication) by noon Monday or email to
Parish Office.
- Please print clearly and include your name and phone number so you can be called if information is incomplete or unclear in any way.
- Enclose announcement in an envelope marked "Bulletin."
- Observe the deadline strictly. Editing and layout takes time and we must meet a deadline to St. Louis, too.

NEWSLETTER
The St. Mary Messenger is published eight times a year. The newsletters primary goals are to nurture our faith community by witnessing our faith, to communicate with parishioners about parish activities, to educate and to provide a sense of welcoming and community.
Reporters are needed to write articles and help others write articles. Members of any parish committee are encouraged to write articles or provide pictures for the newsletter to inform people about their activities. Articles can focus on the purpose of the committee, recent and future activities and events, or a variety of other things. Email articles to Davi Stuhlsatz. Regular photos can be dropped off at the rectory and will be returned after publication.
Editors edit for grammar and content and typists type articles for writers without computers. Photographers provide photos and layout technicians arrange and prepare the articles by computer for printing. Sponsorship by a business is another avenue for stewardship and is a great way to advertise. Currently, business donors can sponsor an issue for a contribution of $150. Contact:
Kathy Parisio at 788-5525.

PARISH WEBSITE
Members of any parish committee are encouraged to write content material or provide pictures for the website to inform people about the purpose of the committee, their activities and upcoming events. Submit material to the website committee to be edited for space and content.
