The Outreach Commission assists the parish staff by coordinating the ministry relating to human needs, both for parishioners and for the larger community. Groups included in this Commission are centered around social awareness and pastoral care. This Commission encompasses Social Concerns, Bereavement, Evangelization and Service Projects.
GOD'S FOOD PANTRY
On the first Sunday of each month our parish collects non-perishable food items and monetary donations that are taken to God's Food Pantry in Wichita. The donated items are dropped off at the back of church, then pooled and distributed to the poor each week. The Pantry operates primarily on the donations of individuals and churches.
Health and Wellness volunteers promote wellness and foster awareness through education and training. Volunteers share their medical training and talent with parishioners and assist in connecting people in need with services. Contact:

Drivers with vans that can accommodate transporting wheelchair-bound parishioners to Mass are also needed. Call Sherry Reed, 788-7144.
