Up and Coming...

April 11: Noon dismissal
April 14-25: CoGat and ITBS testing

Reading: For the remaining quarter we will be doing a literature unit on the book; Sarah, Plain and Tall. The students will have their own book that they will be sharing with Mrs. Busch's class. These will not be allowed to go home unless special permission is given. We will be doing 1-2 chapters per week and having the weekly vocabulary and comprehension assessments on Thursday.
English: We're working on Pronouns. We are continuing to work on the inventor reports. Some are being asked to add more details for the paragraph telling how the invention works.
Spelling: This week: words with suffixes, Next week: Changing y to i. Updated list is on the web.
Religion: Starting Ch 20 focusing on Coming up Ch 21 Psalms & Stewardship; emphasis on Psalm 104. Most of the class has finished 4 or 5 of the sacraments for their Sacrament book
Science: Finishing Earth materials; Coming up : Sun, Moon, Planets.
Social Studies: Finishing Making Economic choices; Coming up: Making Goods,using our resources to benefit our country and other countries.
Math: Reviewing measurement and then will be starting Geometry..
