Dear Parents,

I would like to thank all of you for your understanding while Mr. Smith and I continue to teach your children together. The transition from me to him and vice versa has gone very smoothly, and I believe this class has handled it admirably. Sometimes I get behind in keeping grades in Power School updated, but be assured that I am monitoring each student's progress. The grades that are available in Power School now are the ones that we will discuss at conferences. I have also entered several on Quarter 2 if you would like to check that out. If I had any concerns, I would have been in contact.

This week and next, we will be preparing for the Veterans Day Prayer Service. We have letters to write to veterans and the prayer service to practice. After Thanksgiving break, we will present “Our Lady of Guadalupe” play and begin our reports for “Christmas Around the World.” We have a very busy next 2 months.

I have one more round of chemo on October 29. Everything is going well, and I look forward to the end of this. Hopefully, the new year brings a clean bill of health and hair!!
